Life may not be a long quiet river, but…

March 5th, 11:30-12:00

This presentation will show you how I built and continue to build my career. As a scientist in the realm of Life Sciences, I will take you through my career journey with its ups and downs: from a PhD and post-doc to business development, consulting in innovation, grants management and eventually to an Executive MBA!

Dr. Danielle Desravines

Grants Officer at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL), Grenoble (France) and Heidelberg (Germany).

I am a research scientist and hold a PhD in Structural Biology and Nanobiology. I aimed at deciphering a molecular pathway in hypercholesterolemia to develop new pharmaceutical drugs. After my post-doc, I continued my journey as a business developer in a structural biology company. I have now been working in research & development, innovation management and financing for several years. My role is to leverage the performance of companies and institutes. To embrace my next challenges and continue to nurture my open-minded and creative mindset, I graduated an Executive MBA from a top-tier Business School. I want to thrive in highly innovative environments, and I wish to contribute to Society by capitalizing on innovation as a means of creating value.
